We concluded that traction control system should be on the board.we can use microcontroller to read data from sensors and do computations and output to the PC through Xbee moduleĪccomplishments: Submitted preliminary project proposal. Met with Ram to find out what protocol will be used to communicate between kart and pit stations.We found Xbee module but it has following pros and cons.Pros: serially transmitted so that we can use USB or ethernet to interface with PC.Lots of documentation online available regarding using Xbee module.Cons:few I/O pins so that we could not interface directly with sensors.
